The Jeju Provincial Office of Education announced on the 7th that it has appointed Lee Jin-seung, an advisor at Hanwha System, as the principal of Hallim Industrial High School, a specialized high school in the aerospace field. The appointment date is March 1, and the term is four years.
The advisor graduated from Seoul National University and has held various positions including planning director, service and chemical business division head, and finance headquarters head (executive director) at Hanwha System since 2018, having previously worked at LG CNS and Hanwha Group.
Hanwha System plans to lead the development of the aerospace industry by establishing the Hanwha Space Center at the Hawon Techno Campus in Seogwipo and collaborating with aerospace startup companies such as Perigee Aerospace and CONTEC.
