The music investment platform Musicow is making strides towards the launch of its services in the U.S. after forming a strategic partnership with the global comprehensive entertainment 'Roc Nation.'
Roc Nation, owned by 'hip-hop lend' Jay-Z, is building a diverse business network and infrastructure through a wide range of operations including music and sports management, publishing, and live performance planning. In South Korea, it is known as the agency for globally famous artists such as Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and DJ Khaled.
On the 3rd, Musicow announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Roc Nation in the U.S. As a strategic shareholder, Roc Nation has secured a 15% equity stake in Musicow's U.S. subsidiary, Musicow US, and plans to continue close collaboration for Musicow's U.S. service through copyright sharing.
Through collaboration with Roc Nation, Musicow will proceed with album production and will focus on securing super intellectual property (IP). Musicow is planning a project to release collaboration albums featuring major artists from both countries within this year.
The song, which will be released simultaneously worldwide, is expected to be offered as an investment product on the Musicow platform in the future, the company noted.
