SM Group announced on the 13th that Woo Oh-hyun, the chairman, donated 100 million won to Severance Hospital for research and development funds.
According to SM Group, Chairman Woo made the donation through the construction subsidiary Samra Co., Ltd. This is his third donation following contributions made in 2015 and 2019.
Severance Hospital plans to use the donation for patient care, clinical research, and improvements to facilities and environments in the cardiovascular hospital.
SM Group noted that Woo made the donation as part of the group's focus on implementing ESG management.
