LAON PEOPLE, an artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 16th that it participated with its subsidiary, Raon Road, in the '2025 WSCE (World Smart Expo Korea)' to showcase transportation and urban video surveillance solutions integrated with generative AI technology, as well as smart city digital twin technology.

In the field of smart city solutions, the company presented autonomous cooperative driving and AI video surveillance, while in smart transportation solutions, it showcased the Traffic Analysis System (TAS) and Traffic Management System (TMS), along with cognitive digital twin network (DTN) technology.

LAON PEOPLE introduced the next-generation video surveillance solution 'ODIN AI', which can understand surveillance intent and detect unexpected situations by utilizing vision language models (VLM) and large language models (LLM).

Technologies related to ODIN AI are currently applied at Incheon International Airport and Yongsan District Office. The pilot project for disaster and emergency detection with State Governments in Thailand has also been completed.

Raon Road unveiled Korea's first autonomous cooperative driving system using AI semiconductors, AI Multi-access Edge Computing (AI-MEC), along with traffic infrastructure development, on-device AI safety systems, traffic analysis systems, traffic management systems, and cognitive digital twin network technology.

Through this exhibition, LAON PEOPLE and Raon Road plan to present their vision for autonomous driving and mobility, smart city-related businesses, and develop new markets in conjunction with corporations in the Internet of Things (IoT), urban air mobility (UAM), and robotics sectors.

The WSCE, held at BEXCO in Busan until the 17th, offers a venue where the latest technologies from various fields related to smart cities, including construction, infrastructure, transportation, energy, environment, mobility, and AI, can be explored all in one place.
