Dowooinsys, a company specializing in ultra-thin strengthened glass (UTG) that is pushing for a KOSDAQ listing, announced on the 11th that it has finalized its final offering price at 32,000 won, the upper end of its hoped range (29,000 to 32,000).
In the demand forecast conducted by Dowooinsys from the 3rd to the 9th, 2,180 domestic and foreign institutional investors participated, recording a competition rate of 785.41 to 1. Of these, 98.5% of the institutions offered prices above the hoped range upper limit.
Dowooinsys plans to raise a total of 1.4 million shares through this offering. The total amount of the offering is 44.8 billion won, and the expected market capitalization after listing is approximately 344.2 billion won.
Founded in 2010, Dowooinsys is the first company in the world to commercialize UTG for foldable smartphones in 2019. It has Samsung Electronics as its main client. Through Samsung Display, it has been supplying UTG to global companies like Samsung Electronics' Z Fold series, Google, Oppo, and Xiaomi. It is also continuously contacting potential clients in North America.
Dowooinsys is set to go public on the KOSDAQ market on the 23rd, following a public subscription for general investors on the 14th and 15th. Kiwoom Securities is the underwriter for the listing.
