Kiwoom Securities noted on the 8th that the number of customers using the installment investment service "Stock Gathering" surpassed 100,000 just four months after its launch. Stock Gathering is a service that automatically buys a desired amount of stock on preset dates daily, weekly, or monthly.

The most accumulated stock by users of Stock Gathering was NVIDIA, a leader in artificial intelligence (AI). This was followed by Tesla and Apple, as well as exchange-traded funds (ETFs) such as "SCHD (dividend stocks)" and "QQQ (tracking the Nasdaq 100 index).

Users invested an average of 100,000 to 200,000 won per month. However, there were differences in preferred stocks according to investment amounts. Small investors who invested 50,000 to 100,000 won per month preferred tech stocks like NVIDIA and Tesla. In contrast, high-amount investors who invested 500,000 to 1,000,000 won had a large proportion of investments in U.S. dividend ETFs or large stock index tracking ETFs.

Among the users of Stock Gathering, 13% were minor customers. It was found that parents automatically purchased stocks worth an average of 110,000 won per month for investment education and asset management for their children.

In addition, there are customers who achieved a cumulative savings of 500 million won and recorded a revenue of 95.05 million won from installment investments, or those who executed 1,640 orders in one month.

Kiwoom Securities provides cash coupons of 90,000 won for new customers investing in overseas stocks and 20,000 won for existing customers among users of Stock Gathering. Additionally, there are no purchase fees or exchange fees.
