The Ye-Gang Hope Growth Foundation announced on the 30th that it is recruiting participants for the 'Growth Road' program targeting multicultural youth (youth from immigrant backgrounds) who are in their first and second years of high school, in collaboration with Lara Social Partners.
'Growth Road' is a program designed to provide practical assistance to multicultural youth who are contemplating their academic and career paths. Participants will receive professional coaching with a mentor on ▲career exploration ▲Korean language learning based on literacy ▲improving academic management skills.
In addition to career coaching, there are plans for peer interaction programs, career camps, and graduation ceremonies to help multicultural youth build self-esteem and a sense of belonging. The Growth Road program will run for about seven months from next month until January 2026.
Applications for participation can be made through the Growth Road website. Final participants will be selected after a first round of document screening and a second round of interviews. The deadline for document submission is July 13th (Sunday), and applicants must submit a brief self-introduction and a statement of purpose.
Park Sang-jo, the CEO of the Ye-Gang Hope Growth Foundation, noted, 'Growth Road is a process that goes beyond simple academic support and helps youth with diverse backgrounds grow into confident members of society.' He added, 'I hope it establishes itself as a model where diversity is seen as another possibility and where we can grow together.'
