Woori Bank announced on the 27th that it has implemented a reorganization of its headquarters.
Woori Bank has integrated its personal customer product development and marketing organization into the Personal Product Marketing Department and its corporate customer sales strategy and product development organization into the Corporations Sales Strategy Department. To enhance financial and foreign exchange support for corporate clients, it has newly positioned the foreign exchange business unit within the corporate group. Furthermore, a new Small Office Home Office (SOHO) Business Department has been established to focus on launching products exclusively for individual business owners and providing management consulting.
To strengthen its digital platform competitiveness, it is establishing a Digital Sales Group. This group includes the WON Banking Department, Platform Business Department, and WON Mobile Department.
To innovate AI-based work processes and secure future growth drivers, the existing AI Platform Department has been expanded and reorganized into the AI Strategy Center. Additionally, a new TECH Human Resources Department has been created under the HR Group to express its intention to enhance IT and digital development capabilities and improve productivity.
In addition, a Corporate Synergy Team will be established under the corporate group to strengthen partnerships with corporate clients and promote joint ventures such as discovering future business opportunities.
