The Korea Financial Investment Association announced on the 26th that it held the '2025 Private Equity Fund Concert' at the Financial Investment Center in Yeouido, Seoul. About 200 participants, including university student investment clubs, attended the event.

This event was organized to help undergraduate and graduate students understand the private equity fund market and the overall industry and to provide an opportunity for career exploration. It started in 2017 and marks its 7th year this year.

The first speaker, Kim Tae-hong, CEO of Growth Hill Asset Management, introduced the current status of artificial intelligence (AI) utilization in the market and AI quant investment techniques. Following him, Choi Jong-hyuk, CEO of C Square Asset Management, explained the characteristics of the domestic hedge fund industry, and Jung Yong-woo, CEO of Rainmaker Asset Management, shared experiences related to academics, employment, and starting a company.

Some participants who attended the event visited the asset management companies of the speakers directly to learn more.

Lee Chang-hwa, executive director of the Korea Financial Investment Association, noted that, "We will continue to organize such events in the future."
