iM Securities said it will hold an event for personal customers called 'U.S. stock collateral loan upgrade interest rate.' The event period runs until Sept. 30.
Customers applying for U.S. stock collateral loans (withdrawal type) during the event period will receive a preferential loan rate of 3.45% per year for about 12 months. Special benefits will be provided based on the amount of U.S. stock transactions, with a minimum special rate of 2.45% for five months starting from the second month after the application date based on the previous month's U.S. stock transaction amount.
The first 200 customers who execute U.S. stock collateral loans will receive one Starbucks Americano coupon. Prizes will also be awarded through a lottery based on the amount of collateral loan executed, with one Starbucks Americano coupon (100 people) for an average loan balance of over 5 million won, one share of Apple stock (10 people) for over 50 million won, and 10 shares of Apple stock (3 people) for over 100 million won.
A new account opening event for new and dormant customers at the smart branch (non-face-to-face) will also be held. Those who open an account newly at iM Securities' smart branch during the event period will receive a 0.01% online transaction fee benefit for domestic stocks. For futures options transactions, a fee preferential benefit will be provided for three months, and if one transaction is made, the benefit will be extended for an additional three months.
U.S. stocks will offer a 0.069% online transaction fee benefit. The currency exchange fee will be reduced by 90% for one year from the account opening date, and if a transaction is made within three months before the benefit ends, it will be extended for another year. Free real-time quotes for U.S. stocks will be available until September, and afterward, if a balance of over 100,000 won in overseas stocks is maintained, it will automatically extend every month.
The credit financing interest rate is 4.3% per year for six months from the account opening date, and the stock collateral loan interest rate is 4.9%.
