MG Saemaul Geumgo Community Hope Sharing Foundation announced on the 23rd that it has supported a total of 13 vehicles to social welfare facilities in the region.
The vehicle support project was conducted gradually through regional vehicle support, but this year, considering the lack of transportation that poses challenges for service delivery in underserved areas, it has been expanded to a nationwide support.
The foundation noted that this expansion aims to provide practical help to community social welfare facilities that are restricted by poor transportation conditions, in line with the significance of the foundation's 10th anniversary, and to reduce the gap in social welfare services between regions so that more local residents can safely pursue their daily lives.
The foundation has been identifying and supporting social welfare facilities in need of vehicles since 2019, and by providing 13 new vehicles this year, it has supported a total of 49 vehicles so far.
Chairman Kim In said, "Vehicles are not just a means of transportation, but an important bridge for the consolidation of neighbors and the community that need care," and emphasized, "It can play a small but meaningful role in alleviating the invisible inconveniences and disconnections experienced by the socially vulnerable."
