The Korea Exchange announced on the 23rd that it will conduct public recruitment for new employees.
Applications will be accepted from the 24th to the 7th of next month. Afterward, the final successful candidates will be announced following written tests and first and second interviews. The recruitment process is expected to be completed in October.
The Korea Exchange will select a total of 59 general positions across five institutional sectors: management, economics, law, statistics, and IT. Considering an additional selection of up to 10% outside the metropolitan region, they aim to hire within 65.
There are no restrictions on educational background or major. Candidates will take a written test in one of five subjects: management, economics, law, statistics, or IT. The written tests are planned to be held in Seoul and Busan.
The Korea Exchange will conduct the recruitment process in a blind manner to focus on abilities. It will also maintain the goal system for hiring local talent. If the number of successful local candidates falls below the target ratio (25%) at any stage of the selection process, additional candidates will be admitted to make up the shortfall.
The Korea Exchange has decided to verify minimum language proficiency for selecting global talent. The standard score includes a minimum of 750 on the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC). While candidates can apply without meeting this requirement, their proficiency status will be considered in the evaluation.
Detailed information regarding the recruitment can be found on the Korea Exchange website.
