Korea Investment Holdings subsidiary Korea Investment Securities announced on the 23rd that it is carrying out a green remodeling support project at the 'SOS Children's Village' child welfare facility in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do.

As part of 'Korea Investment WE:green', a 9-kilowatt (kW) solar power generation facility and electric panels were installed in the SOS Children's Village. A large double window was installed in the living room, and the indoor window frames were replaced with products that have good insulation effects.

Korea Investment Securities has been promoting Korea Investment WE:green, which aims to reduce carbon emissions by improving energy facilities in aging buildings and create a more pleasant living environment.

Kim Seong-hwan, president of Korea Investment Securities, said, “Through this green remodeling, I hope that children can naturally feel the importance of the environment and dream of a sustainable future together. We will continue to provide ongoing support so that they can grow up safely in a healthy environment.”
