LAON PEOPLE, a specialized artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 20th that it has released the beta version of its AI agent "HSK Code Master," which finds item classification (HSK) codes in unfamiliar fields such as pharmaceuticals or semiconductors in under a minute. A month-long free trial opportunity is being offered.

According to LAON PEOPLE, HSK Code Master is a service that automates the search for HSK codes, which is the most challenging task for import and export practitioners. In some industries with a wide variety of product classifications and extensive HSK codes, practitioners had to work an average of over 3 hours to find the relevant codes.

HSK Code Master recommends HSK codes based on item information inputted by the user in natural language, applying sequential thinking. LAON PEOPLE explained that the AI provides clear reasons for its recommendations, and also automatically handles the preparation of import and export declarations and tariff calculations.

Additionally, HSK Code Master learns the user's repetitive usage patterns and frequently searched code lists to provide customized personalization features. LAON PEOPLE anticipates that practitioners from tariff firms, import and export corporations, and departments responding to free trade agreements (FTAs) will be able to utilize this in their work.

Users can access the HSK Code Master website to try the free trial. LAON PEOPLE plans to launch the official version based on a month of beta testing and collected feedback.
