Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on the 19th that it has signed a comprehensive memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Transportation Safety Authority to improve traffic safety and activate the mobility sector.

Through this memorandum of understanding, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority will enhance cooperation in the areas of traffic safety education, research related to the use of vehicle data, and the activation of mobility governance by mutually utilizing infrastructure and data.

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority will support each other's infrastructure and know-how in the social contribution projects they have conducted individually, such as traffic safety education campaigns, road infrastructure improvement, and the establishment of advanced traffic culture.

Additionally, by integrating and mutually utilizing the data held by both organizations, they will produce high-quality research results and strengthen cooperation in developing effective automotive and mobility policies and technologies.

Furthermore, they plan to establish a cooperative system to promote technological exchanges and the discovery of new business opportunities to respond to changes in the global mobility industry.

The MOU signing ceremony took place on the 19th at the headquarters of Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, attended by Lee Mun-ho, president of Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, and Jeong Yong-sik, chairman of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority.

A representative from Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance said, "Through this agreement with the Korea Transportation Safety Authority, we will lead the future of the rapidly changing mobility sector and create visible results that drive the significant gap."
