Kim Dae-hyun is the new head of the institutional sector of EQT Partners Korea.

EQT Partners, a global private equity fund management firm, announced on the 16th that it has appointed Kim Dae-hyun, former leader of DHK Management, as the new representative and partner in the Korean institutional sector for real estate. Kim will oversee the establishment and operation of real estate investment strategies in Korea.

Kim is an expert who has been engaged in the global real estate investment industry for nearly 30 years. While working as the head of the real estate investment advisory firm DHK Management, which was established in 2012, he led opportunistic high-risk, high-return investments in Korea.

He has previously worked as the managing director responsible for Pan-Asian real estate at Shinsei Bank and has been involved in investment and business development at several financial and technology corporations in the United States.

He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Kim said, "Based on the know-how specialized for the local market in Korea, I want to closely cooperate with a world-class team to further expand EQT's real estate presence in Korea and the Asia-Pacific region and build long-term partnerships."

In addition, Kim will join the EQT global real estate team. The EQT real estate team is acquiring and developing various portfolios across the Americas, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. Currently, EQT's global real estate platform manages assets worth over 33 billion euros (approximately 51.2 trillion won).
