Venture capital (VC) firm Mashup Ventures invested in the table order solution operator "Gorder."
On the 16th, Mashup Ventures announced that it participated as a new investor in the seed funding round for Gorder, which is seeking to raise less than 1 billion won.
Mashup Ventures, a venture capital firm composed of founders, started in 2013. It has made a name for itself by discovering companies such as Ohouse and MyRealTrip.
Mashup Ventures appears to have taken note of Gorder's scalability. Gorder, which operates a table order solution that allows checking menus, placing orders, and making payments within business sites, is targeting the U.S. market.
Gorder has formed partnerships with point-of-sale (POS) corporations such as Toast and Clover, and is expanding around major cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle.
Brian Yoo, a partner at Mashup Ventures, noted, "The team has quickly secured affiliated stores and initial sales with a strong understanding of the U.S. market, indicating promising growth ahead."
