Woori Financial Group announced on the 15th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 12th with Good Neighbors and Save the Children at Woori Financial's headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, to build the ‘Thank You Token’ system aimed at spreading a culture of praise and gratitude.

The ceremony was attended by key figures, including Yim Jong-ryong, chairman of Woori Financial Group; Kim Joong-gon, secretary-general of Good Neighbors; and Jeong Tae-young, president of Save the Children, who shared their commitment to collectively promote a culture of praise and gratitude throughout society.

The ‘Thank You Token’ is an internal communication platform developed by Woori Financial Group that allows members to freely exchange messages of gratitude, praise, and encouragement. It promotes positive interactions in daily life. In the future, Woori Financial plans to donate the ‘Thank You Token’ system to the two NGOs at no charge and support its overall implementation, including initial system setup, operational know-how transfer, and user training.

A Woori Financial official noted, “Praise and gratitude are the most powerful energies that drive an organization,” adding that “this agreement marks a meaningful starting point for the expansion of Woori Financial's ‘Thank You Token’ into social value, and plans to lead the spread of gratitude culture by broadening its application to various NGOs and public and private institutions in the future.”
