KCGI Asset Management said that its 'KCGI Korea Target Convertible Bond Mixed Fund' achieved its target revenue rate of 6% just two months after its launch on the 12th.
The KCGI Korea Target Convertible Bond Mixed Fund invests over 50% in high-credit bonds such as government bonds, monetary stabilization bonds, quality financial bonds, and corporate bonds, while investing less than 30% in domestic stocks. In the stock sector, it adopted the strategy of 'KCGI Korea Fund Equity Type,' which is KCGI Asset Management's representative product, investing in both quality growth stocks and value stocks.
The fund was set up on 18th, and it achieved a revenue rate of 6.08% just 55 days after its establishment. After exceeding the target revenue rate of 6%, it will be converted into a bond-type fund and maintained for one year. Investors can withdraw their investment freely during this period without a redemption fee.
KCGI Asset Management noted, "Initially, we planned to achieve the target revenue rate in about 6 months to 1 year," adding, "The ongoing upward market trend and the effectiveness of stock sector management strategies made early target achievement possible."
He added, "We aim for flexible investing not constrained by specific strategies, and the barbell portfolio strategy of simultaneously investing in growth stocks and value stocks at reasonable price levels proved effective."
Meanwhile, KCGI Asset Management decided to recruit for 'KCGI Korea Target Convertible Bond Mixed Fund No. 2' at the request of existing customers. The recruitment period is from the 16th to the 27th of this month.
