Venture capital (VC) HB Investment achieved a significant return on investment by reclaiming its funds from K-beauty listed company d'Alba Global.

On the 12th, HB Investment announced that it had recovered approximately 16.7 billion won by selling a portion (35%) of its shares in d'Alba Global, held through the 'HB Growth Support Investment Fund,' at the end of last month.

Considering that the number of shares held by the HB Growth Support Investment Fund was 413,285, it is interpreted that the company sold around 144,650 shares at around 115,000 won per share.

It essentially means that they sold at approximately double the public offering price, and the stock price of d'Alba Global, which entered the Korea Securities Market in May, rose more than 11% that day, surpassing 160,000 won.

HB Investment plans to sequentially sell the remaining shares to boost its revenue. The company noted, "We have recorded a staggering 24 times the return compared to the initial investment."
