Robot advisor specialist Pount announced on the 12th that its subsidiary Pount Investment Advisory is participating in the development of the next-generation clearing and settlement system for the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in cooperation with Korea Securities Depository at the Korea Exchange.

In this project, Pount Investment Advisory will be responsible for the design and implementation of an AI-based risk early detection system. This risk management system includes the capability to automatically identify market risks by analyzing listed securities in real time and issuing immediate alerts.

In particular, the 'risk detection' technology based on deep learning models boasts higher precision than traditional methods and has significantly enhanced real-time detection capabilities for extreme risks.

The company noted that this is a case of domestic financial information and communication (IT) technology making significant inroads into the Southeast Asian financial market, particularly highlighting the meaningful achievement of applying domestic AI financial technology proactively to global financial infrastructure.

Pount Investment Advisory plans to strengthen its collaboration with Korea Securities Depository in the future and expand the export of AI-based financial infrastructure technology targeting emerging financial markets.

Kim Young-bin, CEO of Pount, said, 'Earlier this year, we proposed 'advancing financial AI technology' as a survival strategy for the future, and we are stepping up efforts for a full-fledged advancement of financial AI technology.' He added, 'I expect this export of the risk management system to serve as a catalyst for Pount’s growth as a financial AI technology company.'
