The news of the hacking incident at YES24 was belatedly reported. According to data submitted by lawmaker Choi Soo-jin of the People Power Party from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), YES24 reported the hacking incident to KISA on the afternoon of the 9th. The YES24 website and application have been inaccessible since the 9th.

YES24 stated through a notice, “As a result of our internal investigation, the accuracy of the personal information leak has not been confirmed,” and added, “We will sincerely cooperate with the investigation by the relevant agencies and announce the results again.”
