The Korea Export-Import Bank announced on the 11th that it has successfully issued a global bond worth €750 million (approximately 1.173 trillion won) targeting investors worldwide.
The bonds issued this time are green bonds aimed at supporting eco-friendly projects such as renewable energy. The Export-Import Bank noted that it decided to issue green bonds reflecting the preferences of euro-denominated bond investors.
The initial target issuance amount was €500 million, but due to demand exceeding expectations with orders totaling up to €4.2 billion from over 150 investors, the final issuance amount was increased.
