The stock price of HYBE reached a new three-year high (based on closing price) on the enlistment dates of RM and V from the group BTS. The expectation that the full group of BTS will return soon seems to have stimulated investor sentiment.

HYBE's stock closed at 309,000 won on the KOSPI market on the 10th. The stock price rose by 2.32% (7,000 won) compared to the previous day. This is the highest closing price since April 2022. On that day, HYBE's stock also traded at 310,000 won during the trading session, which is also the highest price since June 2023.

BTS members are returning one after another. Jin and J-Hope completed their military service in June and October of last year, respectively. Following RM and V, Jimin and Jungkook will also enlist on the 11th. Suga is expected to be discharged on the 21st.

Choi Min-ha, a researcher at Samsung Securities, noted, "With the enlistment of BTS members, the warming-up for full group activities has begun," and added, "They are expected to return with a larger-scale tour than before."

HYBE's roster of artists is also expanding. SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, as well as BOY NEXT DOOR and TWS are broadening their activities. CAT’S EYE has also achieved entry into the Billboard Hot 100. This month, following the Japanese boy group AORN, domestic boy groups targeting Central and South America will debut in the latter half of this year.

The increased possibility of lifting China’s 'Hallyu restriction' has also contributed to HYBE's stock price rise, as the overall entertainment sector showed strength. Chinese President Xi Jinping said during his first phone call after the inauguration of President Lee Jae-myung, "Let's deepen cultural exchanges and enhance mutual understanding."

However, with HYBE's stock price soaring more than 50% this year, the potential for further rises compared to securities firms' target stock prices has narrowed. According to financial information provider FnGuide, the average target stock price of eight securities firms that issued investment opinions on HYBE since May is 340,000 won.
