On the 10th, Hyundai Rotem's stock price has risen by over 6%. This is due to reports that the second export contract for the K2 tank to Poland is imminent.
At 9:49 a.m. on the same day, Hyundai Rotem traded at 163,500 won, up 100,100 won (6.58%) from the previous day, setting a record high.
According to multiple government sources, a contract to supply Poland with 180 K2 tanks is expected to be signed later this month.
The contract size is approximately 9 trillion won, the largest in terms of individual defense exports. Of the total 180 tanks, 117 will be directly produced and supplied by Hyundai Rotem, while the remaining 63 will be manufactured locally by the Polish state defense group PGZ.
