The Korea Listed Companies Association (KOSDAQ) sincerely congratulated President Lee Jae-myung on his election on the 4th, representing listed companies on the KOSPI market.
KOSDAQ noted, "The Korean economy is facing a significant crisis where a recessionary economy may persist due to uncertainty in the domestic and foreign real economy and increased volatility in financial markets," adding, "Expectations from the economic sector for various policies of the new government are high under the national goals of 'restoration' of constitutional order, 'growth' as one of the world's five major economies, and 'happiness' for all citizens."
KOSDAQ also stated, "We ask for efforts to create an environment where we can compete with leading global corporations and to reform regulatory measures to avoid discrimination against us," and noted, "Our corporations will also commit to investment and job creation to help the new government's success and overcome the economic crisis, striving for economic development."
