The content corporation known for the song 'Baby Shark,' The Pinkfong Company, is pursuing a listing on the KOSDAQ.
On the 2nd, the Korea Exchange announced that The Pinkfong Company submitted its preliminary examination application for listing on the KOSDAQ market headquarters on the 29th of last month. Mirae Asset Securities is handling the underwriting.
The Pinkfong Company achieved significant success both domestically and internationally through its intellectual property (IP) 'Baby Shark,' which was launched in 2015. It surpassed 100 billion won in revenue in 2022.
Its valuation is expected to be around 1 trillion won, as it was recognized with a valuation in the trillion won range during the series B fundraising in 2021. Last year, it recorded 97.4 billion won in revenue and 18.8 billion won in operating profit.
According to the Korea Exchange, in addition to The Pinkfong Company, special purpose machinery manufacturer INNOTECH, tactile cell module manufacturer Dot, and metal processing product manufacturer Sammi Metal have also filed for preliminary examination for listing.
In addition, NH Special Purpose Acquisition Company No. 32 (SPAC) has submitted a preliminary examination application for listing.
