Deloitte Korea announced on the 2nd that it has conducted its regular executive promotions for 2025, promoting 18 partners and 2 executive directors.
This promotion is the first executive appointment reflecting the organizational restructuring carried out on June 1 last year. Deloitte Korea explained that it focused on discovering excellent talent for sustainable growth and future competitiveness in line with the rapidly changing global economic environment and industrial structure.
Deloitte Korea plans to further focus on enhancing 'customer-centered services' under a system of four institutional sectors: audit, tax advisory, management advisory, and consulting.
The management advisory sector selected new executives with industry expertise to respond to rapidly changing markets and customer demands. The consulting sector also saw many experts in digital transformation and operational excellence promoted to executive positions.
In terms of the age range of newly promoted executives, the majority were born in the 1980s, continuing from last year. This year, 65% of the promotees were born in the 1980s, following 63% last year. Additionally, in this promotion, 2 men and 1 woman were appointed as executives through the 'fast track' promotion route, showcasing diverse efforts in talent discovery based on performance.
