On the 30th, the request for an injunction filed by Wemade against the Digital Asset Exchange Alliance (DAXA) to prevent the decision to end the transaction support for 'Wemix' was dismissed. As a result of this dismissal, transactions for 'Wemix' will end on June 2 at the four DAXA member exchanges, including Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit, and GOPAX.
Previously, 'Wemix' was issued in 2020 as a core virtual asset necessary for Wemade to engage in the global blockchain gaming business. However, on Feb. 28, 865 million 'Wemix' coins worth 9 billion won were stolen from the 'Wemix Play Bridge' due to a hacking incident.
