The stock price of YG Entertainment is rising in early trading on the 26th. This surge is interpreted as a response to the news that BLACKPINK will be releasing new songs as a full group for the first time in 2 years and 8 months.

As of 9:43 a.m. on this day, YG Entertainment is trading at 79,800 won, up 900 won (1.14%) from the previous transaction. During trading, it rose to 81,000 won, setting a new annual high.

Yang Hyun-suk, the overall producer of YG Entertainment, revealed in an interview video posted on the official blog that BLACKPINK plans to release new songs as a full group this year. BLACKPINK's last album was 'BORN PINK,' released in September 2022, and this is their first news of new songs, excluding the game OST 'THE GIRLS,' in 2 years and 8 months.

Yang also stated the activity plans of other YG Entertainment artists outside of BLACKPINK. BABYMONSTER will release a pre-single titled 'HOT SAUCE' on July 1, followed by the second single in September and a mini-album on October 1. TREASURE will also release a new mini-album on September 1 and commence a new world tour in October.
