Kim Hyun-yong, a researcher at Hyundai Motor Securities, noted on the 23rd that FNC Entertainment is expected to return to profitability in the second quarter of this year (April to June) thanks to the activities of its affiliated boy group, P1Harmony.
According to Kim, P1Harmony's mini album No. 8 recorded first-week sales of 440,000 copies, setting a new all-time high. It ranks ninth among albums released by the end of May this year, excluding unit and solo activities. It is similar to NMIXX but ahead of The Boyz.
Additionally, FNC Entertainment's N.Flying is set to release its second full album on the 28th after three years. Kim expects sales of over 100,000 copies. Kim said, "In the second quarter, FNC Entertainment's total album sales are expected to surpass 600,000 copies, a sixfold increase compared to the first quarter."
Concerts are also continuing. They include CNBLUE's tour in the U.S., Japan, and Asia, N.Flying's Olympic Hall concert, and Rowoon's fan meeting in Japan. Kim noted, "An audience of 60,000 to 70,000 is expected in the second quarter," adding that this is three times the level compared to the first quarter.
P1Harmony will embark on a North American arena tour starting in September this year. Kim noted, "P1Harmony's expected album sales and concert audience size for this year have reached about 30% of Ateez’s levels," adding that attention is focused on whether N.Flying will head towards DAY6 as it resumes full group activities.
