According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system (DART) on the 21st, JPMorgan holds 448,750 shares (5.12% equity) in SAMG Entertainment. The equity ratio surpassed 5%, creating a reporting obligation. JPMorgan noted that the purpose of holding SAMG Entertainment shares is "simple investment."
Recently, JPMorgan has been actively buying and selling SAMG Entertainment shares. Based on the settlement date, on the 16th, it purchased 16,651 shares at 63,387 won per share, and on the 19th, it sold 5,117 shares (including shares from related parties) at 68,277 won per share. The next day, it bought another 498 shares at 67,066 won per share.
Thanks to the popularity of Tinyping, SAMG Entertainment has seen an increase in its intellectual property (IP) value, which has led to a rising stock price. The fact that Tinyping will start targeting overseas markets such as China, Japan, and Southeast Asia in the second half of this year has also been a driving force for the stock price increase. The stock price increase rate over the past month is 81.44%, and the year-to-date increase rate is 395.46%.
Most individual investors who have invested in SAMG Entertainment are also seeing evaluation gains. The average purchase price of 1,644 investors linked to the Naver Pay "My Assets Service" is 39,547 won, with an average evaluation profit rate of 65.63%. About 80% of investors are in the profit zone.
