On June 3, the date of the 21st presidential election, the securities, derivatives, and general product markets are expected to take a break.
The Korea Exchange noted on the 20th that the securities, derivatives, and general product markets will be closed on the 3rd of next month due to the government's designation of the presidential election day and a temporary holiday.
The stock market as well as exchange-traded funds (ETFs), exchange-traded notes (ETNs), equity-linked warrants (ELWs), subscription rights certificates, securities market, revenue securities market, bond market, and KRX Startup Market (KSM) will take a day off.
The derivatives market, including the EUREX-linked global market, and the general product market, which trades oil, gold, carbon emission rights, etc., will also halt trading. Additionally, over-the-counter derivatives (won IRS, dollar IRS) clearing operations and transaction information repositories (KRX-TR) will be closed.
