In the main stock market, foreigners and institutions are selling 132.2 billion won and 94.9 billion won, respectively. Only individuals are making net purchases amounting to 239.3 billion won.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, SK hynix and Samsung Electronics are down 2.42% and 1.41%, respectively. Samsung Electronics preferred shares (-1.50%), Hyundai Motor (-1.39%), Hanwha Aerospace (-0.71%), and Kia (-0.54%) are also weak. On the other hand, Samsung Biologics (2.59%), LG Energy Solution (1.55%), and KB Financial (1.50%) are rising.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ index is trading at 716.30, down 8.77 points (1.21%) from the previous day. In the KOSDAQ market as well, institutions and foreigners are selling net amounts of 136.6 billion won and 75.3 billion won, respectively. Only individuals are buying 235 billion won worth.
The top KOSDAQ market capitalization stocks are also weak, except for PharmaResearch (1.20%), Alteogen (1.10%), Ecopro (0.57%), and ECOPRO BM (0.32%). Rainbow Robotics is down more than 6%, while Sam Chun Dang Pharm and HLB are down around 5% and 4%, respectively. LigaChem Biosciences (-2.81%), Peptron (-1.37%), and HUGEL (-0.87%) are also declining.
In the Seoul foreign exchange market, the exchange rate of the won (won-dollar) against the U.S. dollar is trading at 1,400.8 won, up 0.8 won from the previous trading day.
