Mirae Asset Securities announced on the 19th that it has established a new branch of 'The Sage Family Office' on the 30th floor of the Parnas Tower in Samsung-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to respond to the rapidly growing domestic ultra-high-net-worth asset management market.
The new branch is expected to provide specialized services such as customized portfolio management, exclusive product offerings, tailored seminars, and additional consulting, considering the regional characteristics where affluent individuals and high-income professionals are concentrated. It plans to collaborate organically with consulting and marketing teams within the PWM (Private Wealth Management) sector of Mirae Asset Securities, which is responsible for asset management business targeted at ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
The Sage Family Office is led by Branch Manager Jang Eung-seong, who is a VIP client management expert that grew the Banpo Station WM to over 700 billion won in scale within three years of its establishment. Jang noted, "We will contribute to the successful management of clients' assets and their peaceful retirement based on the global WM capabilities of Mirae Asset Securities."
Mirae Asset Securities reported that it has prepared a social lounge where clients can relax at The Sage Family Office, and has created separate consultation spaces to protect privacy.
The existing VIP management offices, WM Gangnam Finance Center and WM Center One, will be renamed to The Sage Gangnam Finance Center and The Sage Center One, respectively. 'The Sage' means a wise and knowledgeable person. The company explained, "This represents our commitment to providing wise, customized financial solutions based on the core value of Mirae Asset Securities, 'Permanent Innovator.'"
