Hana Bank provided

Hana Bank announced on the 9th that it will implement the 'non-face-to-face artificial intelligence (AI) export letter of credit purchase review' service to automate import and export for the first time in the financial sector.

This service has significantly improved the existing export letter of credit purchase review tasks that relied on experts. The review tasks can be automatically classified by AI, and information such as purchase details can be accurately extracted, allowing export-oriented corporations and early-stage corporations seeking to expand overseas to verify and supplement any defects in their export documents.

The non-face-to-face AI export letter of credit purchase review will be primarily applied to corporate clients that use the headquarters' internet banking.

This service is part of Hana Bank's AI import and export automation project and was developed using Hana Financial's independent technology. Hana Bank introduced the AI-OCR solution 'READIT,' which was developed in partnership with Hana Financial T&I, a subsidiary of the Hana Financial Group and an independent company, into its import and export operations last June.
