The large-cap stocks are showing mixed results. Hanwha Aerospace (3.30%), HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (2.82%), SK hynix (2.63%), KB Financial (0.86%), and Samsung Electronics (0.09%) are rising, while Samsung Biologics (-3.32%), Celltrion (-2.22%), and Hyundai Motor (-1.06%) are declining.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ index is trading at 718.35, down 3.51 points (0.49%) from the previous day. In the KOSDAQ market, foreigners and institutions are net selling 51.1 billion won and 1.6 billion won, respectively. Individuals alone are net buying 62.6 billion won.
The large-cap stocks on the KOSDAQ are underperforming. LigaChem Biosciences is down more than 6%, and ECOPRO BM (-4.02%), Ecopro (-3.49%), Peptron (-3.11%), HUGEL (-2.96%), PharmaResearch (-2.82%), and Alteogen (-0.98%) are all declining. In contrast, HLB (2.79%), Rainbow Robotics (2.02%), and CLASSYS (0.46%) are performing well.
In the Seoul foreign exchange market, the won (won-dollar) exchange rate against the U.S. dollar is trading at 1,397.3 won, down 4.2 won from the previous trading day.
