The Saemaul Geumgo Community Hope Sharing Foundation announced on the 30th that it will implement the "Warmth Sharing Event Support Project" to support underprivileged communities and promote a culture of sharing.
This project was established to support social welfare facilities for vulnerable groups and to promote a culture of sharing in the community. It will provide approximately 400 million won in funding to 80 social welfare facilities.
The Warmth Sharing Event Support Project is characterized by its support for tailored programs for each region. The support includes assistance for community festivals and special meals for Parents' Day in May, summer camp support for low-income children, special meal and kimjang (making kimchi) support, performance support for culturally marginalized areas, and activation programs for longevity villages, among various projects centered on vulnerable groups and neighbors in need of care.
This project will be operated in conjunction with local Saemaul Geumgo through volunteer activities and other means. The foundation plans to further deepen the sense of community through this process and enhance the warm solidarity within the community.
Kim In, chairperson of the MG Community Hope Sharing Foundation, said, "The Warmth Sharing Event is not just a simple donation but a practice of sharing that aims to bring about change in the lives of our neighbors. I hope more neighbors can feel hope, and we will continue to do our best to promote a culture of sharing."
