Yang Jong-hee, chairman of KB Financial Group, met with Donald Trump Jr., the son of U.S. President Donald Trump, on the 30th.
According to KB Financial, Chairman Yang met with Trump Jr. for about 30 minutes at the Chosun Palace Seoul Gangnam around 10 a.m. that day. Trump Jr. arrived in Korea the previous day at the invitation of Chung Yong-jin, chairman of Shinsegae Group, and is staying at this hotel.
Chairman Yang and Trump Jr. reportedly discussed ways to cooperate on Korean finance. Trump Jr. is also engaging in relay meetings with various business leaders in addition to Chairman Yang that day.
