Kakao Pay Securities announced on the 28th that it will hold the "Buy Anywhere, Sell Here" Season 2 event for users depositing stocks.

This event was organized to reduce users' commission burden and provide a free trading environment. Kakao Pay Securities explained that the core of the event is to offer a 1,000-day sales commission benefit to users who deposit domestic and overseas stocks held at other securities firms into their Kakao Pay Securities accounts.

Earlier, Kakao Pay Securities held a Season 1 event last November that refunded sales commissions for life for users depositing overseas stocks. In this Season 2, the scope has been expanded to include domestic stocks.

Applications for the event are open until June 30, and the deadline for stock deposits is July 7. Users who deposit stocks valued at over 10 million won into their Kakao Pay Securities comprehensive accounts or stock accounts within the specified period will automatically receive the 1,000-day sales commission benefit starting from the next day after the deposit completion date, during the regular sessions for overseas stocks.

Additionally, there is an extra benefit where one user among those who have completed the deposit will be selected through a lottery to receive Tesla stocks worth 10 million won.

However, related agency fees and taxes will be incurred separately. The deposit amount is calculated based on the actual stocks reflected in the account and may be somewhat delayed depending on the processing schedule of the deposit and applying securities firm.

Detailed information about the event can be checked through the Kakao Pay app or the "securities" menu within the Kakao Pay home on KakaoTalk. Caution is needed as principal losses may occur during investment depending on market conditions.

Kakao Pay Securities noted, "The user response to the Season 1 event, which was focused on overseas stocks last year, was enthusiastic," and added, "This year, we have prepared to expand the scope to include domestic stocks so that more customers can experience the actual benefits of commission reduction."
