In the unified securities market, individual investors and foreign investors are net selling 38.3 billion won and 83.6 billion won, respectively. Institutional investors are turning to a 'buy' stance during the session, with a net purchase of 93.3 billion won. In the KOSPI 200 futures market, foreigners are favored with a purchase of 379.3 billion won.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung Electronics has fluctuated and is up 0.27%, while SK hynix is down 1.57%. Hanwha Aerospace has switched to an upward trend during the session, rising by 0.49%, and shipbuilding stocks such as Hanwha Ocean, HD Hyundai Marine Engine, and HJ Shipbuilding & Construction are generally continuing their upward trend.
LG Energy Solution, POSCO Holdings, and POSCO FUTURE M, related to secondary batteries, along with financial stocks such as KB Financial Group and Shinhan Financial Group, are also rising.
Amid a more than 5% drop in SK Telecom following the SIM card hacking incident, KT has set a new 52-week high (52,000 won).
At the same time, the KOSDAQ index is recording a drop of 5.48 points (0.75%) to 724.21 compared to the previous trading day. The index started at 730.58, up 0.89 points (0.12%) from the previous session, but switched to a downward trend and enlarged its decline.
In the KOSDAQ market, individual investors are net buying 159.6 billion won, while foreign investors and institutional investors are net selling 82.9 billion won and 67.5 billion won, respectively, dragging the index down.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Alteogen, Rainbow Robotics, HUGEL, and LigaChem Biosciences are falling. In contrast, secondary battery stocks such as Ecopro and ECOPRO BM are rising.
