As of 11:27 a.m. on this day, the KOSPI index is trading at 2,519.01, up by 32.37 points (1.30%) from the previous day. In the securities market, institutions are making net purchases worth 265.1 billion won. Individuals and foreigners sold 200 billion won and 100.7 billion won, respectively.
Excluding Samsung Biologics (-1.58%) and Hanwha Aerospace (-1.08%), the stocks with the highest market capitalization are on the rise. SK hynix and LG Energy Solution are both up more than 3%, while Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, Samsung Electronics preferred shares, and Kia all show gains in the 1% range. KB Financial and Celltrion also rose by 0.96% and 0.82%, respectively.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ index is trading at 722.76, up by 6.64 points (0.93%) from the previous day. In the KOSDAQ market, individuals and institutions are purchasing 60 billion won and 9.9 billion won, respectively. Only foreign investors have made net sales worth 58.4 billion won.
The KOSDAQ stocks with the highest market capitalization are also showing strength. Ecopro BM (4.02%), Peptron (3.92%), Ecopro (3.07%), HLB (2.06%), LigaChem Biosciences (0.98%), Rainbow Robotics (0.53%), Kolon TissueGene (0.43%), HUGEL (0.36%), and Alteogen (0.26%) are all rising. In contrast, CLASSYS (-0.47%) is slightly down.
In the Seoul foreign exchange market, the exchange rate of the won against the U.S. dollar was trading at 1,429.1 won, up by 5.1 won from the previous trading day.
