NH Amundi Asset Management noted it will list the 'HANARO Global Physical AI Active' exchange-traded fund (ETF) on the 22nd.
The HANARO Global Physical AI Active ETF is a product that invests in corporations related to artificial intelligence (AI) expanded into the physical realm. It targets outstanding corporations around the world leading the physical AI industry, including NVIDIA, Tesla, and Intuitive Surgical.
Physical AI refers to artificial intelligence embedded in physical hardware, such as humanoid robots or autonomous vehicles. Earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, noted, 'We are entering the era of physical AI.'
Recently, the global market has seen aggressive investments continuing to secure leadership in future advanced industries as the U.S.-China technology hegemony competition intensifies. This is expected to lead to explosive growth in the physical AI-related industry, NH Amundi Asset Management explained.
The ETF benchmark index is the 'Solactive Physical AI Index.' NH Amundi Asset Management explained that it aims to pursue excess returns compared to the benchmark index based on accumulated management know-how and in-depth analysis, rather than simply using a passive index approach.
Kim Seung-cheol, head of the ETF investment department at NH Amundi Asset Management, said, 'The HANARO Global Physical AI Active ETF will be an attractive option for investors looking for high revenue in the long term by investing in the early stages of an industry with the enormous growth engine that is physical AI.'
