At the same time, the KOSDAQ index recorded a decrease of 1.66 points (0.23%) at 707.32. In both markets, only individual investors have stepped in to buy, while foreign investors and institutions are net selling.
Among the top market capitalization stocks in the KOSPI market, Samsung Electronics, SK hynix, NAVER, Samsung C&T, and Korea Electric Power Corporation started up. In particular, automobile-related companies Hyundai Motor, Kia, and Hyundai Mobis are showing strong gains of 2% to 3%.
LG Energy Solution, Samsung Biologics, Hanwha Aerospace, and Celltrion are trading at lower prices than the previous day.
U.S. President Donald Trump noted on the 15th (local time) that he may consider easing tariffs on auto parts. Trump stated, "I am reviewing ways to assist auto companies" and emphasized, "It takes time to produce auto parts in the U.S."
