Kim Tae-han was appointed as the new president of BNK Gyeongnam Bank on 1st.

Gyeongnam Bank announced that it held the '16th inauguration ceremony of President Kim Tae-han' in the main auditorium on this day. The ceremony, which followed the farewell ceremony for the former president, was attended by Binn Dae-in, chairman of BNK Financial Group.

In his inaugural speech, President Kim noted, "Gyeongnam Bank has existed with the region and must grow with the region," adding that the bank should "collaborate with local governments and regional corporations and deeply engage in the lives of customers and residents." He presented key management directions, including ▲ realizing region-centered Localnomics, △ pursuing non-destructive innovation that preserves essentials, ▲ implementing 'success DNA' to enhance digital competitiveness, and ▲ building a trusted organization.

President Kim is a finance expert who has served as the head of the loan review department, head of the loan support headquarters, head of the corporate customer group, and head of the investment banking group at Gyeongnam Bank. He is regarded as the right person to drive regional economic growth due to his field-oriented communication leadership and excellent business execution capabilities.
