Toss Securities announced on the 18th that it will extend the after-hours trading time for U.S. stocks. With this extension, the trading hours for U.S. stocks at Toss Securities will increase from the previous 14 hours, including pre-market, regular market, and after-hours, to 15 hours and 50 minutes.

Toss Securities customers will be able to transact U.S. stocks from 5 p.m. (daylight saving time) when the pre-market begins until 8:50 a.m. the next day when the after-hours session ends. If the day market resumes, Toss Securities' U.S. stock trading hours will increase to 23 hours and 50 minutes, effectively allowing for nearly 24-hour trading.

Toss Securities currently offers domestic and international stock, as well as international bond services, and plans to launch international stock options services later this year.

A Toss Securities official noted that "the expansion of trading hours reflects customers' demand to quickly respond to earnings announcements from U.S. corporations or major news released after the market closes" and added, "It is expected to enhance customer convenience and satisfaction in U.S. stock investments."
