Toss Securities has taken a step closer to obtaining a license for trading derivatives and options transactions.
According to the financial investment industry on the 24th, during a meeting of the Securities and Futures Commission under the Financial Services Commission held on the 22nd of this month, the review item for an on-exchange derivatives license application submitted by Toss Securities last month was approved. Toss Securities noted that it received confirmation of the Securities and Futures Commission's decision the previous day.
If this item is ultimately approved at the regular meeting of the Financial Services Commission in the future, Toss Securities will obtain a license for on-exchange derivatives transactions.
Currently, Toss Securities provides transaction services for domestic and international stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and exchange-traded notes (ETNs). Once it receives the license, it will also be able to offer futures and options transaction services.
