Korea Securities Finance Corporation held a board meeting on 23rd and announced the new appointments of Kim Hee-moon as the head of the management department and Seol Kyung-a as the head of the review department to executive positions.
Korea Securities Finance Corporation explained the reason for appointing the two new executives, stating, "To support the growth of the capital market and enhance the competitiveness of securities finance, we appointed department heads with outstanding work capabilities and leadership as new executives." The two new executives will start their terms on 3rd next month.
Executive Director Kim has served as the head of the management department and the planning department at Korea Securities Finance Corporation, while Executive Director Seol has held positions such as head of the review department and head of the capital market finance department. Notably, Executive Director Seol has been appointed as the first female executive in the 70-year history of Korea Securities Finance Corporation.
