Singer Choi Yena shared her thoughts on sharing the stage with BTS member Jin.
Choi Yena held a showcase for her fourth mini-album 'Blooming Wings' on the 29th at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
Choi Yena, who showcased her adorable and vibrant charm through the title track of her third single 'Nemo Nemo' last September, returned to her main work after about 10 months. During that time, Choi Yena appeared in KBS2's 'Villains Everywhere' and ventured into her first serious role, demonstrating her potential as an actress.
Choi Yena, who made her comeback after 10 months, said, "I was very nervous about meeting fans with new songs while on concert tour. I immersed myself in album production while having expectations. Since this album took 10 months, I put in a lot of effort. I wanted to show my most Yena-like appearance, so I prepared for it."
In particular, Choi Yena attracted attention while sharing the stage with BTS member Jin. Regarding the stage with Jin, Choi Yena noted, "I recently had the honor of featuring on Jin sunbaenim's stage, and when I received the feature offer, I was so surprised to hear that I was the first person he thought of. I was very thankful for that. It made me feel like my presence as a solo artist was genuinely reaching someone."
She added, "I've consistently explored the rock genre, and it was an honor just to feature, but it was even more of an honor to be able to share the stage. I couldn't believe that I would be standing on stage in front of the ARMY. I remember having said thank you several times."
Meanwhile, Choi Yena's fourth mini-album 'Blooming Wings' is filled with love and growth narratives, showcasing her most Yena-like appearance. The emotions of first love blossoming as pure as angel wings, the moment of first heartbreak experienced on a rainy alley, and all the processes of love have been reinterpreted through Choi Yena's unique sensitivity.
