BTS member V showcased his shining loyalty. After his discharge last month, he visited the army base again to celebrate his fellow soldier's discharge. V proved his strong loyalty by valuing the connections made during military service.
Recently, V's visit to the base about a month after his discharge was revealed through online communities and social media, sparking curiosity. V smiled brightly in front of the barracks of the Army's 2nd Corps SDT, taking pictures with about 50 junior soldiers. The reason for V's visit to the base was to celebrate his fellow soldier's discharge.
In response, fans showed interest by posting photos of V with his juniors in the official fan community, and V explained, "Today, my fellow soldier is being discharged." V also left a message saying, "We enjoyed romance together," congratulating his junior on his discharge.
V was discharged on June 10 after serving for 1 year and 6 months in the Army as a member of the 802nd Military Police Battalion in the 2nd Corps, after enlisting in December 2023. During his military service, he gained attention for gaining muscle and for photos from the base and events.
In particular, V became a role model for his diligent military service. He gained attention when he was awarded as the exemplary soldier during the basic training graduation ceremony. It has been reported that he mingled well with juniors and peers who were almost 10 years younger than him during his military life.
As he cherished the connections made in the army, V kept track of his fellow soldier's discharge while shuttling overseas for BTS's comeback preparation and personal schedules.
At the time of his discharge, V expressed, "After coming to the army, it was a time to rethink and reassess my body and mind. I rebuilt my body and mind and want to hurry to run to ARMY (the official fandom). I sincerely thank all the ARMY members who waited for me during my military service."
